In two screenshots posted to the Skyrim subreddit, an massive arrow is shown taking up a large portion of the screen after being fired from the player’s bow. The arrow appears to be at least three times larger than two follower NPCs standing nearby.
According to robert1070’s account, they had fired a standard arrow from their bow when the giant projectile suddenly appeared and flew off into the distance. After taking the screenshots, the player used console commands to locate where the arrow landed and found it had killed an enemy NPC.
The Reddit post quickly gained traction, with many commenters noting they had never seen anything like it despite hundreds of hours spent in Skyrim. Some joked that Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness, must have intervened to create such a Skyrim Glitch of Gigantic Arrow. The original poster said this was their first time witnessing the giant arrow bug after putting over 3,000 hours into the game.
